PURCHASE OPTIONS & CANCELLATION POLICY

Fresh Roots Naturals Effective Date: December 2, 2025

Fresh Roots Naturals offers flexible purchasing options including Subscriptions and Pre-Orders. This policy outlines the specific terms, cancellation rights, and refund rules for these purchase types. By selecting these options, you agree to these terms.

1. SUBSCRIPTIONS (Auto-Ship)

If you subscribe to a product (e.g., Monthly Cardamom Refill), you agree to the following:

A. Automatic Renewal & Billing

  • Consent: By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at the selected frequency (e.g., every 30 days) until you cancel.

  • Price Fluctuations: Spice prices vary with the harvest. We reserve the right to update subscription prices. You will be notified via email 7 days before any price increase. If you do not cancel, the new price will apply.

B. Cancellation of Subscription

  • Deadline: You may cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next scheduled billing date to avoid being charged.

  • How to Cancel: Manage your subscription via the link in your Order Confirmation Email or log in to your account on our website.

  • After Billing: If the system has already charged you and the order is generated, it falls under our Standard 2-Hour Cancellation Window. Once dispatched, a subscription renewal cannot be cancelled or refunded.

C. Termination by Us

We may terminate a subscription if:

  • The product is discontinued or out of stock.

  • The payment method fails (e.g., expired card).

2. PRE-ORDERS

For items rooted in our heritage but currently out of harvest season, we may offer Pre-Orders.

A. Payment & Confirmation

  • 100% Prepaid: To secure your allocation of fresh harvest stock, full payment is collected at checkout.

  • Estimated Shipping: Shipping dates provided are estimates only based on harvest schedules. Fresh Roots Naturals is not liable for delays caused by weather, crop yield, or logistics.

B. Cancellation of Pre-Orders

  • Before Dispatch: You may cancel a Pre-Order at any time before you receive the "Shipment Prepared" notification for a full refund.

  • After Dispatch: Once the item is shipped, standard Return & Refund policies apply (No returns for "change of mind").

3. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY (Strict Food Safety Rules)

If applicable to specific non-perishable merchandise or sealed sample packs:

A. The "Unopened" Rule

Due to FSSAI hygiene regulations, "Try Before You Buy" does NOT imply you can open, taste, and return a regular-sized food packet.

  • Condition: Returns are accepted ONLY if the product seal is intact and unopened.

  • Liability: If you open the safety seal, the sale is considered Final, and the "Try" period ends immediately. You will be charged the full amount.

B. Authorization

  • Your payment method is authorized at checkout. If the item is not returned in its original, sealed condition within the trial period, the full amount will be charged.

4. GENERAL CANCELLATION RULES (Standard Orders)

For all non-subscription, in-stock orders:

  1. Strict 2-Hour Window: You may cancel an order within 2 hours of placement via the website button or email.

  2. No Cancellation After Dispatch: Once the tracking number is generated, the order is locked.

  3. No COD: We do not offer Cash on Delivery. All refunds for cancellations are processed to the source account within 5–7 business days.

5. DAMAGES & DISPUTES

All purchase options (Subscriptions, Pre-Orders, TBYB) are governed by our master Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

  • Mandatory Unboxing Video: If a Subscription or Pre-Order arrives damaged, missing, or spoiled, you MUST provide a continuous Unboxing Video within 24 hours.

  • No Video = No Claim.
