Fresh Roots Naturals was born from a farmer’s eye and a simple promise: no shortcuts, no adulteration — only spices that stay true to their origin.
We began in the Western Ghats of Kerala, and today we source single-origin spices from trusted farmer partners across India — the Lakadong Hills of Meghalaya, Byadgi fields of Karnataka, the valleys of Kashmir, and more.
Our approach blends tradition and science: old-world farming and drying methods combined with batch-wise traceability and lab testing. We value soil, season, and the people who care for both.

A Founder With a Farmer’s Eye
Hi - I’m Alen George, founder of Fresh Roots Naturals.
My family has been farming for over 150 years. Today, I am proud to continue those roots, channeling my family's legacy and my passion for purity into this business.
When I entered the wider spice industry, I saw dilution, artificial colors, fake claims, and zero farmer visibility. I decided to change that.
I still visit farms, inspect rhizomes and pods myself, and partner closely with farmers across India to protect the integrity of every batch.
My role is simple: keep farmer standards inside the product label.
We believe trust must be earned.
